Codecademy is an outstanding web-based resource to learn new programming languages. It pairs written learning modules with a browser-based REPL, allowing users to practice code from lessons and have it evaluated for correct output. This is an outstanding starting place to pick up the basics of any new language you may need to learn.

If you're a beginner or intermediate-level programmer and need to learn a new technology, the "Net Ninja" Shaun Pelling probably has the best video tutorial to learn it from. I actually spent two days watching his videos to learn Gatsby.js which was used to build this site. Any time you need to learn a new technology, the Net Ninja should be the first place you look.

CSS Tricks is hands-down the best article-based set of CSS tutorials on the internet. I consider many of its articles the definitive documentation on how to use the covered technology and have never built a website without consulting it extensively. Several choice articles are linked elsewhere in this Resources directory.

There are many bootcamps in the world, but General Assembly is the one that I attended. I entered with rudimentary skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and underwent incredible professional growth in taking their Software Engineering Immersive program. There are many quality bootcamps in the world but I'm quite happy with the skills and career contacts I gained from GA.
